Monster Import

Monster is the most popular American energy drink by far. They have some of the best concepts, and this is no exceptions. The resealable lid is a nice touch and definitly makes it stand out in the American energy market. That is the key in the market, standing out in the crowd and stepping out of the box, and Monster certainly did that here.

Taste: This is like original Monster, but this beast has some different flavor genes. It is a bit more smooth and refined, which is a nice tough because the packaging is much more classy. Just to throw this out there, a few of my frineds say this tastes like strawberries, this tastes nothing like strawberries. But any way, this is definitly better than the original and it quite possibly is the alpha male in Monsters exceptionable line up of "beasts". Rating 9 out of 10

Buzz: Now, I have learned alot about the ingredients in energy drinks from big red boots and now I'm going to break this down for you. Taurine is more of a filler ingredient, not an energizer. It is, however, very good for your body though they say what you dont need gets flushed out. Caffeine, of course, is the good stuff, the reason that we drink energy drinks. Guarana is a good ingredient as well, and has some added caffeine that comes in the bundle. Ginseng is a nice ingredient, not harcore but still pretty energizing. Those being the main ingredients, I will say this about Import. The drink is by no means hardcore, not at all as powerful as you think. But the blend is up there and part of my buzz rating goes to nutrition so I guess this deserves a solid rating, right?? Of course I'm right, when am I not. Rating 8 out of 10

Look: This is a pretty awesome can. It definitly stands out of form when compared to Monster's regular image. The can is an 18 oz resealable lid aluminum can. The front has a cool bird figure in silver and the Monster logo on a sort of banner in the middle of the crest. I find this look much more bad ass than the originals and definitly the best of the line. Caffeine and other ingredients are listed on the back, always a plus. Overall, this can takes Monster criteria to a whole new level of awesomeness with an epic can and I dare say one of the most attractive, bad ass cans on the market today.

Overall Look Rating 9 out of 10
